El Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial para el fomento de la interculturalidad en las aulas de aprendizaje: el Coco

Abstract

Este artículo se centra en el estudio e interpretación de la figura del «Coco» como un elemento común que forma parte del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de diferentes tradiciones, lenguas y culturas. La metodología de trabajo está basada en la teoría de la transpodidáctica textual desarrollada por la co-autora de este trabajo. En la primera sección llevamos a cabo la presentación de la figura del «Coco» a través de una canción de cuna tradicional en lengua gallega. En una segunda parte, realizamos un análisis narratológico-semiótico de la traducción al español del relato breve «The Boogeyman», escrito por S. King y publicado en 1973 en la revista Cavalier. Por último, teniendo en cuenta los textos objeto de estudio hemos incluido una propuesta didáctica que podría ser implementada en un nivel educativo de secundaria. Concluye este artículo complementando la investigación con la acción para fomentar la interculturalidad en el aula de lenguas a través del patrimonio cultural inmaterial y su interpretación y transmisión a través de los tiempos.

Lan honen egilekideak garatutako transpodidaktika testualaren teorian oinarritzen da lan metodologia. Lehen atalean, «Kokoaren» figura aurkeztu dugu galizierazko sehaska kanta tradizional baten bidez. Bigarren atalean, «The Boogeyman» narrazio laburraren espainierarako itzulpenaren analisi narratologikosemiotiko bat egin dugu. S. Kingek idatzi zuen lana, eta Cavalier aldizkarian argitaratu zen 1973an. Azkenik, aztergai izan ditugun testuak kontuan hartuta, Bigarren Hezkuntzako hezkuntza maila batean ezar litekeen proposamen didaktiko bat sartu dugu. Artikulu hau amaitzeko, ikerketa ekintzarekin osatu dugu, hizkuntzen gelan kulturartekotasuna sustatzeko kultura- ondare materiagabearen bidez eta historian zehar izan duen interpretazioaren eta transmisioaren bidez.

This article is focused on the study of the figure of «the Boogeyman» and its interpretation as a common element which is part of the intangible heritage of different traditions, languages and cultures. The methodology used to present this research is based on the theory of transpodidactics developed by one of the co-authors of this work. In the first section, a presentation of the figure of the Boogeyman throughout a traditional Galician lullaby is carried out. Secondly, we deliver our textual analysis of the Spanish translation of the short story «The Boogeyman» written by S. King and published in 1973 in the magazine Cavalier. Finally, we have prepared and given some hints for a didactic proposal about the issue, which could be implemented in a Secondary School educational context. This constitutes the final stage of this article in which research and action are combined in order to promote interculturality in the classrooms through the interpretation and transmission of part of our intangible heritage.
