In this document, a description of the behaviour of the torque which affects the drive
shafts of the vehicle, and consequently the wheels, is explained. For this purpose, it is
used the 3D method developed in the Institute of Automotive Engineering of TU Braunschweig,
which takes the name from the three dimensional parameter on which is based:
driver, vehicle and road. First of all, the creation of an Oriented Speed Profile for the road
dimension will be developed with the help of Aitor Diaz de Cerio Crespo and Miguel Pradini
Aranda. After that, the work will be based on the description of the behavior of the
torque by using some parameters of the clutch and the throttle which the driver controls,
and some parameters of the second order system that produces the damping. This task
is made with the help of a power train simulation and some programs created in Matlab/
Simulink environment. Finally, the way in which the parameters a ect the torque is
presented, so that the previous work for further investigations is completed. [--]
