Introducción y justificación:
A
causa

avance

esperanza
de
vida,

cada
año
más
personas
que
requieren
cuidados
paliativos.

Introducción y justificación:
A
causa
del
desarrollo
científico
-
técnico
y
el
avance
del
conocimiento,
se
ha
producido
un
aumento
de
la
esperanza
de
vida,
habiendo
cada
año
más
personas
que
requieren
cuidados
paliativos.
La
vía
subcutánea
es
de
elección
cuando
la
oral
no
está
disponible
para
el
control
de
síntomas
,
pero
su
uso
continua
siendo
inferior
al
resto
de
vías
parenterales.
Objetivo:
Profun
dizar
y
analizar
de
manera
exhaustiva
los
conocimientos
más
relevantes
y
pertinentes
sobre
los
cuidados
paliativos
y
la
vía
subcutánea
con
el
fin
último
de
actualizar
los
conocimientos
de
las
enfermeras
de
Atención
Primaria
y
garantizar
una
atención
segur
a
y
de
calidad
a
los
pacientes
paliativos.
Metodología:
Revisión
bibliográfica
sistemática
y
metodológica
basada
en
la
evidencia
científica
existente
en
la
actualidad
sobre
el
tema
planteado.
Resultados:
En
2017,
129.500
personas
requirieron
cuidados
palia
tivos
específicos,
sin
embargo,
sólo
51.800
pacientes
tuvieron
acceso
a
ellos.
La
vía
subcutánea
presenta
grandes
ventajas
frente
a
las
otras
vías
permitiendo
al
paciente
fallecer
en
su
domicilio
con
un
buen
control
de
síntomas
aumentando
la
calidad
de
vid
a
del
paciente.
Conclusiones:
Se
debe
incrementar
su
uso
en
Atención
Primaria
de
manera
que
los
pacientes
se
beneficien
de
las
ventajas
que
presenta
dicha
