| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This project presents an innovative idea in the application of mathematical methods and programming in favor of biomedicine. It displays a tool for studying diseases of the spine and of the human body too. This tool has been done with MatLab program. This is a friendly tool and isn’t harmful to patient health. Through collaboration of SATI Group laboratory in the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Valencia, we obtained data from more than 80 volunteers. These data will be obtained from measurements of 26 strategic points of the human body. With the help of sensors, cameras and a treadmill these data will be obtained and will be stored in a matrix form. The data will be carefully sorted into three groups according to the health of each patient. The three groups will be formed by healthy persons (without injury), with an injury history and without an injury history. V.C. A tool was used to carry out the previous survey. We started from the idea of DPM (Double Step Average) to study the asymmetry of human movement. First, this DPM was split in order to obtain two representations of human walking. We studied various methods for separating right step over left step. Once we obtained both arrays, we investigated how to extend them so that we got two representations of human movement from the same person. Finally, we study the asymmetry coefficients of both representations so they can be helpful in both possible diseases of the spine and the entire human body. This will be joined in a small executable program that is scheduled with the ultimate goal that the user is able to handle these results without requiring specific knowledge. | en |
