In this thesis project, a complete analysis of the heat transfer between the human body and the surroundings in a indoor place is carried out so that more knowledge on this area is available and to give answers to different questions related to these matters. All the research, data and conclusions are intended to serve and suggest what is the best way to dress as a function of the activity that you are doing. The estimation of the heat flux is totally connected with the kind of clothes you are wearing and the task you are executing. Thereby, an exhaustive study of the different kind of clothing and activities is to be carried out. This should server to estimate the heat transfer for different activities and clothing. The work also distinguish between two situations, on one hand the place will be cooling by an air conditioning equipment and on the other hand, I’m going to simulate some cases in the same room without cooling with the aim of seeing which are the differences. All the calculations of the study have been performed with a CFD (computer fluid dynamics) program called fluent 6.3 with which I’ve done the simulations. Also it has allowed me to calculate the temperature of the skin and the temperature of the clothes around all the profile of the human silhouette with the aim of seeing if the results in each case are realistic or not. Finally the analysis of the theoretical air flux into the room is purpose of this work too.en
