There is also little doubt that technology influence and has an impact on how organization work and to some extent also on how they are organised. Various disciplines have addressed this issue and many perspectives have been applied over time. The rapidly growing interest for studying technology adoption strategies and outcomes of the implementation of these strategies have led to a wide range of contributions across disciplines. The richness of contributions illustrates the need for knowledge development in this field. At the other side, there is also time and need for some consolidation and review for future directions of the research effort.Publication Open Access An empirical investigation of the effect of credit ratings on sovereign credit risk(Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, 2015) Ballester Miquel, Laura; González Urteaga, Ana; Gestión de Empresas; Enpresen KudeaketaWe investigate the cross-border spillover effects of credit rating events for sovereign CDS Latin American emerging economies during 2004-2014. The article extends the previous literature measuring the effect in terms of change in contagion, which we quantify using the novel GVAR methodology. We find that CDS of boarding markets anticipate both positive and to a greater extent negative events that occurs in a given country. Alternatively, only upgrades display a significant spillover effect the days after the event. Therefore, CDS already reflect the information before the positive or negative rating announcement occurs. However, only upgrades contain new information that have a significant impact on the CDS markets of other sovereigns. Publication Open Access Guest editorial: Immersive telework: a new hybrid organizational model(Emerald, 2024) Erro Garcés, Amaya; Belzunegui Eraso, Ángel; Pastor Gosálbez, Inma; López Peláez, Antonio; Gestión de Empresas; Enpresen KudeaketaTo expand the theoretical knowledge base and provide a better understanding of telework since the pandemic, we launched a special call for papers on "Organizational behavior since COVID-19: teleworking and organizational challenges since the pandemic".Publication Open Access Guest editorial: introduction to special issue on "History of marketing in Spain", part I(Emerald, 2024) Aramendia Muneta, María Elena; Ruiz Moreno, Felipe; Martínez-Ruiz, María Pilar; Gestión de Empresas; Enpresen KudeaketaSpecial issue of the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing (JHRM) on “History of Marketing in Spain” – part I. The report presents, first at all, a quick overview of the region. Secondly, the innovation in the region is broken down according to 5 different groups: Public Institutions, University Spin‐offs or Students who intend to start businesses, Business Development Institutions, R&D institutions and Enterprises. Finally, the paper reveals results of the survey carried out in those 5 groups. The report draws attention to the great effort that Navarra is doing in order to develop innovative initiatives in the region through the 4 technological plans implemented from 2002 until the present day. Thanks to all those measures, Navarra is nowadays among the top 100 regions in the EU according to the index of the European Innovation Scoreboard and is among the top 3 in Spain. According to the main results of the survey, these are the major conclusions: ‐ Public institutions: The outcomes capture the efforts of the Government of Navarre to improve the economy of Navarre in the area of innovation, supporting enterprises in every aspect, such as fund‐raising, assistance and R&D consulting, new market areas and technology and knowledge transfer. ‐ University Spin‐off enterprises cooperate with several institutions in the creation of a new product or innovation. On the whole, they do not belong to a network. ‐ Entrepreneurial University Students show great interest in online platforms, where they can find information for their business idea or even help for their innovative projects. ‐ Business development institutions: despite the small sample available, it can be observed that these institutes usually support other organizations to raise funds for making investments in innovation and help them to obtain partners and consultancy services. ‐ R&D institutes: no matter the number of employees of R&D institutes, they belong to a network. Although they use external IT tools supporting innovation creation and technology transfer, they hardly share any information through those external tools. Enterprises look for information to support innovation and technology transfer processes by using external resources. The kind of information they search for is quite basic, not too deep. The main reason for not using this information channel is that there is no internal need. Internet seems to be the main source of information. 66% of firms receive information from universities and higher education institutions in the region. Apparently, their level of satisfaction over the information they receive is quite satisfactory. It is recommended that although the crisis in Spain is also having major impacts in Navarra the Government of Navarre should not cut down the inputs of innovation and should continue to support the economic development of the region. Thus, Navarra could maintain its preferential position in the EU and Spain in the field of innovation and in terms of GDP.Publication Open Access El nuevo instrumento "Next Generation EU": reseña(Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo, 2023) Barrio Saralegui, Cristina; Aramendia Muneta, María Elena; Gestión de Empresas; Enpresen Kudeaketa; Institute for Advanced Research in Business and Economics - INARBEEl libro es capaz de analizar desde una perspectiva crítica la definición e implementación de los Fondos NGEU y su correspondiente plan español, el PRTR, con especial hincapié en la dimensión ambiental, la transición energética y el acceso de las PYMES.Publication Open Access Open Banking: institutions(Associazione Centro Studi Luca d'Agliano, 2022) Mansilla Fernández, José Manuel; Gestión de Empresas; Enpresen Kudeaketa; Institute for Advanced Research in Business and Economics - INARBEOpen banking is defined as the “sharing of customers’ permissioned information held by banks with so-called ‘third-party’ developers, who can use them to build applications and services comprising payments, synthetic information for account holders, and other marketing and cross-selling opportunities” (BIS, 2019).
