Recipes to promote teaching and learning in an international environment. Part 3/3: current best practices in internationalisation

En esta tercera y última sesión del curso para la formación de profesorado universitario “Recipes to promote teaching and learning in an International environment”, las profesoras de la Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA), Aneider Iza Erviti y Paloma Fernández-Rasines, abordan el tema de las buenas prácticas actuales en la internacionalización de los programas de educación superior. La sesión se basa en el State of the Art desarrollado en el marco del proyecto Recipes for Internationalisation, y tiene como objetivo presentar experiencias inspiradoras que puedan servir de referencia para docentes y responsables académicos. Entre las iniciativas destacadas se encuentran los programas COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) y BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes), ejemplos concretos de colaboración internacional en la enseñanza que promueven una educación más inclusiva, multilingüe y global. También se introduce la plataforma AGORA UNITA como herramienta digital orientada a facilitar la cooperación académica entre universidades europeas. A través del análisis comparado de estas experiencias, se anima a las personas participantes a reflexionar sobre su aplicabilidad en contextos diversos y a valorar estrategias transferibles que permitan reforzar la dimensión internacional de sus programas formativos.

This third and final session of the course for university faculty training “Recipes to Promote Teaching and Learning in an International Environment” is led by professors Aneider Iza Erviti and Paloma Fernández-Rasines from the Public University of Navarre (UPNA). The session focuses on current best practices in the internationalisation of higher education degree programmes, drawing on the State of the Art developed within the Recipes for Internationalisation project. Its main goal is to showcase inspiring experiences that can serve as a reference for teaching staff and academic decision-makers. Among the featured initiatives are COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes), which represent concrete examples of international collaboration in teaching and promote a more inclusive, multilingual, and globally connected learning experience. The session also introduces AGORA UNITA, a digital platform designed to facilitate academic cooperation among European universities. Through a comparative analysis of these practices, participants are invited to reflect on their potential transferability to different institutional contexts and to explore strategies for strengthening the international dimension of their own degree programmes.
