Evaluación radioeléctrica de sensores basados en tecnología Bluetooth para entornos interiores

Partiendo de un análisis de la tecnología Bluetooth se pretende en este proyecto evaluar el comportamiento de este tipo de señal en distintos entornos interiores. El campo elegido para evaluar esta tecnología inalámbrica es el ámbito de la telemedicina. La telemedicina es un tema muy de actualidad y en constante desarrollo consecuente con los avances tecnológicos. El interés suscitado en la Universidad ha llevado a desarrollar varias investigaciones sobre el tema. Una de sus contribuciones ha sido el dispositivo Holtin, un dispositivo electrónico diseñado para monitorizar señales cardiacas y trasmitirlas vía bluetooth a un terminal móvil que las reenvíe al servidor de un hospital al que tengan acceso los especialistas. Se evalúan varios recintos para determinar la cobertura que ofrece el dispositivo Holtin pretendiendo simular entornos cotidianos que se encontraría un portador del aparato.

After a first analysis of the Bluetooth technology, this project tries to evaluate the performance of this kind of signal in different indoor scenarios. The field chosen to evaluate this wireless technology is the telemedicine one. Telemedicine is a very topical subject and it is in continuous development, being always consequent with technologies advance. The interest caused in this University finished doing several investigations in this field. One of its contributions was the Holtin device, it is an electronic device designed for visualizing the cardiac signals and transmit them to a mobile phone by Bluetooth. The mobile transmits the signals to the server of a hospital. Specialists will have access to the information. Several environments are studied to determinate the coverage offered by the Holtin. These different environments aim to simulate typical rooms that the carrier of the Holtin finds in his everyday life.
