Los marcadores de realidad en las telenovelas mexicanas y su uso en el aula de ELE

| dc.description.abstract | El uso de audiovisuales en el aula de ELE ha aumentado notablemente en los últimos años, y el cine y la televisión se han convertido en fuentes prolíficas de materiales didácticos. No obstante, las telenovelas hispanoamericanas han tenido muy poca repercusión hasta hoy. Como en todos los recursos auténticos, si se pretende usar las telenovelas mexicanas como input real en el aula de ele para enseñar contenidos socioculturales y lingüísticos, hay que determinar el grado de realismo que ofrecen las producciones en estos aspectos. Este artículo ofrece un breve análisis de los marcadores de realidad que se encuentran en las telenovelas mexicanas y que justifican la idoneidad de este género televisivo como recurso didáctico. Dichos marcadores son de naturaleza geográfica, lingüística y sociocultural. La investigación se hace desde el enfoque del análisis crítico del discurso que permite un acercamiento coherente al tratamiento de los contenidos. A modo de conclusión, cabe destacar que las telenovelas mexicanas ofrecen un grado satisfactorio de marcadores de realidad, que la convierten en un input valiosísimo en ELE. Para que el acercamiento crítico del alumno a México, su cultura y sus variedades lingüísticas sea lo más provechoso posible y con el fin de maximizar el potencial didáctico de las telenovelas, el profesorado debería seguir algunas pautas que se detallarán en este artículo. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The use of audiovisuals in the SFL classroom has increased significantly during the lst years and cinema and tv have become a highy exploited resource for didactica materials. Nevertheless, hispanic soap operas have received very little attention until today. As for all the authentic resources, in case of considering Mexican soap operas as real input to teach sociocultural and linguistic contents in Spanish foreign language teaching, it is of utmost importance to determine the degree of realism reflected in them. This article covers a brief analysis of the reality markers which are present in Mexican soap operas and which justify the suitability of using the tv genre as a teaching resource. Those markers are geographic, linguistic and sociocultural. The investigation has been conducted from the perspective of critical discourse analysis which allows a consistent approach to the treatment of the contents. In summary, it can be pointed out that Mexican soap operas offer a satisfactory degree of reality markers which make them a worthwhile input in SFL teaching. For the sake of iving the students a critical approach to Mexico, its culture and linguistic varieties and in order to maximise the didactic potential of Mexican soap operas, teachers should follow some guidelines which will be outlined in this article. | en |
