The research presented in this doctoral dissertation is focused on the synthesis of hybrid silica xerogels and modified titanium silicalites using different organic precursors, and on the study of their influence on the textural and chemical properties of the new materials. The main goal is to obtain versatile and well-adapted materials for specific applications, which are the preparation of membranes for optical fibre sensors and the photocatalytic degradation of venlafaxine.en
