Este dispositivo de laboratorio está diseñado para acoplar potencia lumínica a la fibra óptica intentando cubrir todo el espectro visible. La estabilidad de la salida y la maximización de la potencia serán los principales objetivos a abordar en este dispositivo. Este proyecto incluye toda la dimensión óptica, opto-mecánica y de diseño electrónico para cumplir dichos fines.In this project, it will be explained the work developed towards the Design and fabrication of a halogen white light source. The light source has been designed in order to couple optical power into an optical fiber trying to provide a broadband spectrum in the visible range. The main features of this device were, on one hand a high stability during long periods of time and, on the other, the maximum coupling of optical power.
