These emissions are mainly caused by the manufacturing processes and by the journey made by employees to the workplace. ABB has carried out a solution for reducing the CO2 emissions caused by their factories, the "Mission to Zero" project. Moreover, this project has also the target of increasing the electric autarchy of their factories. This Master’s Degree thesis analyses the possibility of integrating Busch-Jaeger's (Group ABB) production facility at Bad Berleburg (Germany) into the "Mission to zero" project. With this purpose, a photovoltaic energy solution, an e-mobility solution for bikes and cars and an energy storage solution are studied. The technical solution proposed as well as an economic and environmental analysis is included for each of the solutions.application/pdfengRenewableCO2AutarchyE-mobilityPhotovoltaic energyBatteryRenewable concept and e-mobility solution for Busch-Jaeger's factory at Bad Berleburginfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis2020-11-12info:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccess
