Se trata de un análisis de experiencias relatadas y de una investigación etnográfica mediante entrevistas, todo ello con un sustento teórico basado en los trabajos de importantes investigadores sobre educación en los museos de arte. Los objetivos y cuestiones que orientan el trabajo se refieren a la oferta que algunos museos de España hacen a la Educación Infantil y al tipo de relación que actualmente se establece museos de arte y escuelas. De todo lo investigado he podido concluir que la oferta educativa de los museos que han formado parte de mi investigación es bastante amplia en lo que respecta a enseñanzas superiores, pero si nos centramos en la oferta educativa relacionada con Educación Infantil la oferta disminuye considerablemente. En lo que respecta a la relación museo-­‐ escuela, se trata de un binomio no establecido del todo, le falta fluidez y cooperación. Para ello es esencial una actitud abierta y activa por parte de todos, desde el museo hasta el profesorado.In the current work I’ve carried out some research about practices in art museums related to Early Childhood Education. It consists of an analysis of first-­‐hand experiences and an ethnographic research through interviews, all the while considering the results of important researchers in the field of education in art museums as a theoretical basis. The objectives and issues guiding this essay refer to the fact that some Spanish museums offer certain special activities for Early Childhood Education and to the type of relationship currently established between art museums and schools. From my research, I may be able to conclude that the educational offer in the museums which I have looked into is quite wide for further education; however, if we take a close look at what they offer Early Childhood Education professionals, it is considerably reduced. As far as the museum-­‐school relationship is concerned, it is a still not established pairing, lacking both fluency and cooperation.
