A través de este proyecto, se pretende estudiar la enfermedad en cuestión y diseñar una intervención efectiva para abordar este problema en un municipio de Navarra. Para ello, se estudiará la evidencia científica disponible y se analizará la situación de la enfermedad en la zona de estudio, así como los recursos disponibles y la opinión de personas de referencia. Los principales resultados muestran la necesidad de llevar a cabo intervenciones comunitarias efectivas que aborden el problema en su totalidad, abarcando los diferentes aspectos que forman parte del desarrollo de la enfermedad. En relación a las conclusiones, se considera necesario continuar investigando en este aspecto e implementar estrategias que impliquen participación de la población, que sean duraderas en el tiempo, y que se encuentren incluidas en las líneas estratégicas de las organizaciones.Childhood obesity is the most important disease that affects the child population nowadays, being a very important health problem around the world. Through out this project, we are going to study childhood obesity and design an effective performing plan set up in a village of Navarre. Different steps are going to be followed, such us the study of the available scientific evidence, the analyzed of the situation of the disease in the tested area, as well as the available resources and the opinion of reference people. The main results show the necessity to carry out effective community interventions to cover up the full problem, studding the different aspects that are part of the development of the disease.
