Cuanto más precoz sea la detección mayor será la evolución que tenga el alumno en cuanto a sus necesidades específicas de apoyo educativo. Se refleja la importancia de las creencias que tienen los docentes al respecto. La primera parte del trabajo consta de una revisión teórica de los aspectos relevantes del TDAH: evolución y definición del concepto, síntomas principales, detección del TDAH, trastornos añadidos, métodos de tratamiento y el trastorno en el ámbito educativo. En la segunda parte se presenta una investigación llevada a cabo en dos colegios de la comarca de Pamplona, uno público y otro concertado para analizar las creencias de los docentes acerca del TDAH.The Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) appears frequently in the classrooms and it creates educational difficulties to the students who suffer it. The sooner it has been detected the larger and much more specific educational needs and support the student will have. Here is where the teachers’ values are reflected with significance. The first part of the assignment is made of a theoretical review of the most relevant aspects of ADHD: evolution and meaning of the concept, main symptoms, detection of ADHD, added disorders, ways of treatment and this disorder in the educational field. The second part is an investigation made in two schools of Pamplona, one of them is public school and the other one is an independent school.
