No haber sido considerada la Jota hasta ahora objeto de investigación sociológica, brinda a este trabajo la posibilidad de ser un estudio novedoso que supone la apertura de un camino hacia la investigación de este folklore propio de la Comunidad Foral desde una mirada sociológica. Lo que diferencia a este trabajo de lo estudiado anteriormente es que centra su atención en los protagonistas de la Jota, los joteros y joteras navarros. Su opinión toma relevancia y adquiere un punto central para el análisis y comprensión de la identidad y los valores que se le otorgan a la Jota Navarra.Either because of its popular character or because of its deep-rootedness in Navarre, the singing of the Jota preserves great qualities that provide sociology with a great space for its study. The fact that the Jota has not been considered the object of sociological research until now gives this work the possibility of being a novel study that opens a new path toward the investigation of this Navarrese folklore from a sociological point of view. What makes this work different from previous studies is that it focuses on the protagonists of Jota, the joteros and joteras of Navarre.
