Izan zuten garrantzia nabaria izan zen arren, Trantsizioaz geroztik ezker erradikaleko alderdiak desagertu ziren ia, eta XXI mendearen hasieran gizartearen memorian deus gutxi geratu da. Ikerketa historiko honen helburuak mugimendu politiko honen historia jasotzea, sistema berriaren aurkako kritikan izan zuten garrantzia azpimarratzea eta garai hartako “Euskal gatazkaz” ausnartzea dira.The far-left parties were the first political force of the opposition in Navarre against Franco's dictatorship, at the end of which the new born system, based in the Constitution of 1978, was rejected by a relevant part of the Navarrese society. However, in spite of the evident importance they had, farleft parties almost disappeared after the dictatorship came to an end, and in the early 21st century their trace has gone unnoticed.
