Tomando como referencia la gaita navarra, se idea un sistema electrónico básico capaz de simular el comportamiento de este instrumento para posteriormente añadir funcionalidades que amplíen las características de la gaita. Tras verificar el correcto funcionamiento del sistema electrónico, se diseña y fabrica una placa de circuito impreso y un cuerpo para albergar toda la electrónica y darle al instrumento un aspecto que se relacione con la gaita navarra. Posteriormente se ensambla el conjunto, que incluye tanto las piezas como la electrónica. Finalmente, se pone a prueba el instrumento, se valora el grado de cumplimiento con los objetivos iniciales y se proponen posibles lineas futuras de trabajo.The present Bachelor’s Thesis envolves the design and fabrication of an electronic MIDI wind instrument. Taking the Navarrese bagpipe as a reference, a basic electronic system capable of simulating the behavior of this instrument is conceived, and thereafter adding functionalities to improve the bagpipes’s characteristics. After verifying the proper functioning of the electronic system, a printed circuit board (PCB) and a body are designed and manufactured to house all the electronics and give the instrument an appearance that resembles the Navarrese bagpipe. Afterwards, the assembly of the whole unit takes place. This includes both the printed components and the electronics.
