Sí es relevante para definir las competencias generales y específicas de los nuevos grados. Para saber si los contenidos y objetivos de estos grados van a incluir más y mejor la temática intercultural, hemos analizado la situación presente, para poder luego compararla con la que nos ofrezcan los planes de estudio ya adaptados al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior. Los futuros educadores y educadoras necesitan una formación inicial sólida en interculturalidad para responder al proceso de Convergencia, y a las necesidades sociales y escolares del presente.Today, interculturality is not an essential subject matter in the initial training of educators in Spain. Nevertheless it is relevant to define the general and specific competences of the new degrees. To know if the contents and aims of these degrees are going to include the intercultural subject matter more and better, we have analyzed the present situation, to be able to compare it with the one that the plans of study already adapted to the European Space of Top Education offer.
