Specifically, in this thesis, a code to get one metric of phase synchrony is developed, the Phase Locking Value or PLV. This metric allows us to quantify the connectivity of two regions of the brain. Which could have an immense impact if correlated with clinical outcomes, with the potential of predicting the outcomes of preterm neonates. Being a preterm neonate, is still in 2022, the major cause of mortality for children under five years old around the world. Hence, learning about the connections of these patients will help understand their neural development while helping them in the near future. Here, by analyzing the PLV and iPLV for preterm and term patients, we learn how those populations relate to each other.application/pdfengPhase locking valueNeonatePreterm, EEGPhase synchrony modulations in preterm infantsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesis2022-11-11info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
