Instrucciones explícitas para la ejecución creativa según dos tests de creatividad teniendo en cuenta la inteligencia

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio fue, principalmente, comparar el impacto que puedan tener las instrucciones explícitas creativas y las instrucciones generales no creativas en la ejecución del Test de Expresión Verbal, Forma A del “Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking” (TTCT) y del Test de Inteligencia Creativa (CREA), así como valorar si el nivel de inteligencia -medido con el Test de Dominó, D-48- condiciona la actividad creativa y si existe interacción entre el tipo de instrucción y el nivel de inteligencia. El trabajo se llevó a cabo con una muestra de 341 estudiantes de Bachillerato, de ambos sexos y con edades comprendidas entre 17 y 18 años. Los resultados revelaron que las instrucciones explícitas para la ejecución creativa de los tests propuestos activaron en el grupo experimen-tal respuestas que se diferenciaron significativamente de las respuestas que los sujetos del grupo control emitieron a los mismos tests siguiendo unas instrucciones generales y que esta diferenciación fue más evidente en los sujetos con inteligencia alta. Emergen del estudio interesantes conclusiones para la investigación, la evaluación y la educación.

The main purposes of the present study was to compare the impact of explicir creative instructions and noncreative general instructions on the performance in the Verbal Expression Test, Form A of the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) and the "Test de Inteligencia Creativa" (CREA; in Spanish, the Creative Intelligence Test), as well as to determine whether the intelligence level-measured with the Domino Test, D-48-conditions creative activity and whether there is any interaction between the type of intructions and the intelligence level. The study was carried out with a sample of 341 high school students, of both sexes, and aged between 17 and 18 years. The results revealed that the explicit instructions for the creative performance of the tests activated responses in the experimental group that were significantly different from the responses of the control group to the same tests, following general instructions, and this difference was more evident in high-intelligence subjects. Interesting conclusions for research assessment, and education are reached.
