The management of radial artery hemostasis with the TR Band™ pneumatic bracelet after
performing Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) is a common
practice for nursing professionals of Heart´s Area in CHN. The existence of a protocol of
use and removal of this device based just in commercial house recommendations
(Terumo ™) comes in a wide range of clinical practices. Therefore, the aim of the present
work is to review scientific evidence available in the literature in order to determinate an
effective radial compression method which solves problems that had been found in daily
practice around radial hemostasis. This literature review is performed in specialized
databases, nursing journals and clinical protocols. A critical analysis of the reviewed
publications has been done, and the resulting outcomes and conclusions have been used
to suggest an improvement plan [--]

This work tackles the comparison of radial data, and proposes comparison measures that are further applied to fingerprint analysis. First, we study the similarity of scalar and non-scalar radial data, elaborated on previous ...
