Atención a las altas capacidades en Educación Infantil: Inteligencias múltiples y detección temprana

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza la necesidad de la detección temprana de las altas capacidades en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Se plantea ésta como imprescindible para la atención educativa adecuada a este alumnado. Se propone el enriquecimiento curricular, basado en las Inteligencias Múltiples, como una opción adecuada para responder a sus necesidades educativas. La atención educativa al alumnado con altas capacidades intelectuales debe plantearse no sólo como prevención del fracaso escolar, sino también como atención integral a los ámbitos emocional y social de estos alumnos. Este trabajo defiende que mediante una detección temprana y una respuesta educativa basada en el enriquecimiento curricular fundamentado en las Inteligencias Múltiples, es posible proporcionar a los niños con altas capacidades una atención integral en un ambiente educativo dinámico y diverso que atienda a todas sus características, inteligencias y necesidades

This work analyzes the necessity of the early detection of high capacities in the Infant Education time. This is essential for the right educative attention of these pupils. It suggests the curricular enrichment, based on Multiple Intelligences, as a suitable option to respond their educational necessities. Educative attention of the high intellectual capacities ´pupils must contemplate, not only as a prevention of the school failure, but also as an integral attention to the emotional and social fields of these pupils. This works defends that thanks to an early detection and an educative respond based on the curricular enrichment based on Multiple Intelligences, it is possible to give children with high capacities an integral attention in a dynamic and varied educative field that attends all their characteristic, intelligences and necessities
