Trabajo social y reaprupación familiar de personas extranjeras en Navarra

Abstract

La reagrupación familiar es un derecho que tienen las personas que han emigrado a otro país a reunirse con sus familiares siempre que cumplan con los requisitos establecidos en la normativa de extranjería. En España, son muchas las personas inmigrantes que han utilizado este medio para reunirse con sus familiares en el país de acogida. Este estudio empírico se centra en la importancia de la reagrupación familiar como elemento integrador de las personas inmigrantes y en la importancia del Trabajo Social en el proceso de reagrupación familiar. Para la realización de este trabajo fin de grado se han utilizado varias técnicas de investigación como la revisión bibliográfica, la realización de una historia de vida a una persona que ha ejercido la reagrupación familiar y la realización de una entrevista a la Trabajadora Social del Servicio Social de Base de la Mancomunidad de Valtierra, Arguedas Cadreita, Milagro y Villafranca, que interviene con población inmigrante.

The family regrouping it’s a right that people who have migrated from other countries have to reunite with their relatives who have met the established requirements in the foreign guidelines. In Spain, there are many immigrants who have used this way of reuniting with their relatives in the fostering country. This empirical study centers in the importance of family regrouping as an integrating element of immigrants and it’s importance of the Social Work in the process of family Regrouping. For the achievement of this work, there have been used some investigative techniques such as bibliographical review, the realization of a life history to a person who has practiced the Family regrouping and has done social worker interview from the Social work service of the Valtierra, Argueda Cadreita, Milagro y Villafranca communities, which intervene in the immigrant population
