Estudio sobre las preferencias de voluntariado en la Asociación Navarra de Parkinson

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene por objeto conocer qué tipo de voluntariado prefieren las personas enfermas de Parkinson pertenecientes a la Asociación Navarra de Parkinson. El estudio se ha llevado a cabo en primer lugar, estudiando, a través de textos científicos la evolución del voluntariado y la figura de la cuidadora en España; y, en segundo lugar, realizando encuestas, tanto telefónicas como presenciales, a los usuarios comentados anteriormente. De esta forma, se observa si los usuarios tienen preferencias femeninas o masculinas en el perfil del voluntario/a, por qué se dan dichas preferencias, si distinguen entre voluntario/ y cuidador/a y cuál es el porcentaje de cuidadores o cuidadoras con respecto a la población objeto de estudio

The purpose of this study is to identify which type of volunteer is preferred by people with Parkinson’s disease who belong to the Parkinson Association of Navarra. This research will be carried out, firstly, by analyzing the evolution of the volunteer work and that of the female carer in Spain based on scientific texts. Secondly, by conducting surveys, both on site and over the telephone, on the users mentioned above. This information will enable us to find out whether those users prefer female or male volunteers, the reason for their preference, whether they make a distinction between the volunteer and carer figures and, finally, what are the percentages of female and male carers in relation to the population under study
