Abstract

Este trabajo resume la tarea investigadora en Historia de la Educación llevada a cabo por Reyes Berruezo Albéniz durante su vida académica. Unas investigaciones que han tenido dos grandes objetivos. Por un lado, rescatar la importancia que la educación, sus instituciones y agentes han tenido y tienen para el desarrollo personal y para el conjunto de la vida social, resaltando la relación dialéctica sociedad/educación. Por otra parte, intentar hacer ver a los futuros maestros que la complejidad del entramado educativo en las sociedades contemporáneas es una construcción histórica de la que ellos serán los futuros protagonistas.

This work summarises the research activity in History of Education that has been carried out by Reyes Berruezo Albéniz during her professional career. The research has been built around two main lines of work. The first one focuses on recovering the important role of Education, its institutions and representatives in the development of individuals and society as a whole through dialectic exercises between society and education. Secondly, the research tries to demonstrate to the would-be-teachers that the complexity of the current educational scheme in society is a historical result in which they will be the future protagonists.
