Análisis de costes y viabilidad de una empresa de transporte de pasajeros

Abstract

La finalidad de este trabajo es analizar los costes y la viabilidad de una empresa de transporte de pasajeros desde la perspectiva de la contabilidad de gestión. Resulta interesante ver cómo las empresas del transporte estructuran su coste y cómo lo utilizan para poder fijar el precio en las diferentes licitaciones en las que participan. Realizo este trabajo para poder conocer cuál sería el coste por kilómetro, en el que incurre una empresa de estas características, en cada uno de los dos servicios que oferta. Mediante el estudio de costes se ha detectado un problema de sobrecapacidad en el que la empresa no está utilizando de manera adecuada la capacidad. Este problema ha dado lugar a una cuenta de resultados con altos niveles de pérdidas. No es posible incrementar el precio de las prestaciones por que la empresa estaría perdiendo contratos públicos, obligando a la empresa a rentabilizar la sobrecapacidad que tiene mediante la realización de servicios discrecionales.

The aim of this project is the study of costs and the viability of a bus company and to look the perspective of their analitic contability. I thought that the understanding of the structure of the distribution of the expenses and how they use the fix the prices for the reach up with the public administration. This project starts with the definition of the activity which is going to be made by the company, analysing the environment of the enterprise and checking the profitability of the company. The next step is calculate the unitary costs of the different services, that the company is going to offer to the consumer and the estimation of the cost will be made through a rational ascription system of fixed costs.
