Memoria-proyecto Unidad de Hospitalización “A” de cirugía ortopédica y rehabilitación neurológica

Abstract

Este Trabajo Fin de Máster (TFM) propone la elaboración de una memoria proyecto de la unidad de hospitalización A de un centro monográfico de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología (COT) integrado en un hospital general de nivel terciario. Se trata de una memoria con carácter retrospectivo que abarca desde Enero de 2013 hasta Diciembre de 2015. Una memoria que recoge un análisis de la situación junto con todos los aspectos de la nueva organización de la unidad y con propuestas de mejora futuras. Se realiza un análisis externo del modelo organizativo del sistema sanitario regional, del hospital general, de su centro monográfico de COT y de la unidad la cual está integrada en el mismo. El análisis interno ha supuesto una descripción pormenorizada de la unidad, tanto de espacio físico y recursos materiales como de recursos humanos y actividad asistencial junto con los cambios realizados en este periodo y las necesidades que se objetivan para los próximos años y que formarán el eje principal de la parte del proyecto de la presente memoria. Tras ambos análisis se realiza una matriz DAFO, método de ordenación de la información en cuatro categorías básicas: Debilidad, Amenaza, Fortaleza y Oportunidad, a partir del cual se iniciará un proceso de identificación de propuestas de mejora de cara a plantear acciones que se deberían poner en marcha para aprovechar las oportunidades detectadas y permitieran prepararse contra las amenazas teniendo conciencia de las debilidades y fortalezas.

This Master’s Thesis (TFM) proposes the development of a memory project of the Hospitalization Unit A of an orthopedic surgery and traumatology (COT) monographic center integrated in a general tertiary-level hospital.

The memory has a retrospective character ranging from January 2013 to December 2015.

This memory provides an analysis of the situation, a description of all the aspects of the new organization of the unit and different improvement proposals for the future.

It has been done an external analysis of the organizational model of the regional health system, of the general hospital specifically from its monographic Center of COT and from its integrated unit.

Furthermore, it has been done an internal analysis which provides a detailed description of the unit, including physical space, material and human resources and assistance activity. Added to this there is a description of the changes made in this period and a resume of the futures necessities of the unit. These futures necessities will be the centerpiece of the memory. With the results of both analyses it has been prepared a SWOT matrix, a structured planning method used to evaluate the information in four basic categories: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. With the information obtained with this method; it will begin a process of identification of improvements proposals with the main objective to plan actions to take advantage of the opportunities detected and to prepare for the threats and being aware the strengths and the weaknesses.
