Primeros pasos de un estudio sobre literatura de tradición oral en Baja Navarra

Abstract

Con la oportunidad de una inmersión en el trabajo investigador del Archivo del Patrimonio Inmaterial de Navarra, nos dedicaremos a esbozar un inventario actualizado de las manifestaciones de patrimonio inmaterial y, más precisamente, de tradición oral en el paisaje cultural bajonavarro. Este tipo de patrimonio reúne todas las narraciones populares como los cuentos, mitos, leyendas, pero también el cancionero, los enigmas y las paremias. Este ámbito de estudio tan amplio nos conducirá a redescubrir los trabajos de los folkloristas de los siglos pasados, con las primeras recopilaciones de elementos literarios de tradición oral, pero también nos permitirá, mediante el trabajo de campo, percibir diferentes aspectos del imaginario popular con sus evoluciones hasta su estado actual. Al final, se trata de subrayar la unidad cultural que existe tras las fronteras y episodios históricos de desencuentro, entre estas dos provincias, Alta Navarra y Baja Navarra, que estuvieron tan vinculadas en épocas pasadas.

Nafarroako Ondare Materiagabearen Artxiboko ikerketa- lanean murgiltzeko aukera izanik, ondare materiagabearen agerpenen inbentario gaurkotuaren zirriborroa ekarri dugu hona; zehazki erran, Nafarroa Behereko kultur paisaiaren ahozko tradizioarena. Ondare mota honek narrazio herritar guztiak biltzen ditu, halanola ipuinak, mitoak, kondairak... baina baita abestiak, enigmak eta paremiak ere. Ikerketa eremu zabal honek aurreko mendeetako folkloristen lanek bildutako ahozko tradizioaren elementu literarioak berreskuratzera ekarriko gaitu. Bestalde, landa-lanaren bitartez, herri iruditeriaren hainbat alderdiz eta gaur egun duten egoerara iritsi arteko bilakaeraz ohartzeko aukera emanen digu. Funtsean, mugen eta etsaigoko gertakari historikoen gainetik lehenago baturik egon ziren Nafarroa Garaiak eta Nafarroa Behereak duten kultura batasuna nabarmendu nahi dugu.

With the opportunity of an immersion in the Archive of the Intangible Heritage of Navarre, we’ll be dedicated to prepare and bring up to date the inventory of its intangible heritage, and more exactly of the oral tradition in the culture of Nafarroa Behera. This kind of heritage gets together different genders of popular narrations as tales, myths, legends, songs, riddles, proverbs. This vast field of studies will make us rediscover the works of passed century’s folklorists, with their first collections of oral traditions. Moreover, through fieldwork, it will conduce to the perception of different aspects of the popular imaginary, with its evolutions up to now. Finally, the aim will be to highlight the cultural unity beyond artificial frontiers and historical events which set appart the two provinces, Upper Navarre and Lower Navarre, so linked in the past.
