Pedro Manterola Armisen ha sido una de las figuras más relevantes del panorama cultural navarro de los últimos cincuenta años por la importancia de su labor intelectual en los diversos campos que caracterizan el quehacer artístico: como pintor, profesor universitario, conferenciante, crítico de arte, escritor, presidente y director de la Fundación Museo Jorge Oteiza y director de la Cátedra Jorge Oteiza.

Pedro Manterola Armisen has been one of the most outstanding figures from the cultural panorama in Navarra in the last fifty years due to the importance of his intellectual work in the diverse fields that caracterize the artistic work such as paintor, professor, lecturer, art critic, writer, president and director of the Fundación Museo Jorge Oteiza and Director of the Cathedra on Jorge Oteiza.
