La pandemia mundial del COVID-19 ha dirigido la enseñanza hacia la modalidad
online, situación que ha implicado la búsqueda de alternativas para ofrecer este
modelo de docencia. El presente estudio, enfocado como un proyecto de
innovación docente, tiene como objetivo demostrar la utilidad de la herramienta
NEARPOD a la hora de impartir clases en línea. Al mismo tiempo, a través de
las actividades interactivas creadas con dicho programa, se pretende promover
el aprendizaje activo de los estudiantes. Los resultados de la investigación
llevada a cabo en dos clases de primero de la ESO, sobre un total de 37 alumnos
de la asignatura de tecnología, demuestran que los alumnos disfrutan de las
sesiones con esta herramienta, a la que en muchas ocasiones han llegado a
considerar como un juego, estimulando así su interés y motivación. Por
consiguiente, los alumnos realmente aprenden los conceptos teóricos y alcanzan
los objetivos marcados de aprendizaje. En definitiva, queda demostrada la

The global pandemic of COVID-19 has directed education towards the online
modality, a situation that has involved the search for alternatives to offer this
model of teaching. This study, focused as a teaching innovation project, aims to
demonstrate the usefulness of the NEARPOD tool in teaching online classes. At
the same time, through the interactive activities created through this programme,
the aim is to promote the active learning of students. The results of the research
carried out in two ESO grade 1 classes, out of a total of 37 students in the
technology subject, show that students enjoy the sessions with this tool, which
on many occasions have come to be regarded as a game, thus stimulating their
interest and motivation. Therefore, students actually learn the theoretical
concepts and achieve the stated learning objectives. Ultimately, the
appropriateness and effectiveness of this programme has been demonstrated. [--]
