| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Background: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common peripheral neuropa‐ thy in the entrapment neuropathy group, being more common in women. Despite its prevalence and the impact of CTS on health systems, there is still much controversy regarding optimal therapy. This is a major economic drain. Objective: The main of this Project is to study the effectiveness of neurodynamic and myofascial release techniques as a conservative and more global treatment in pa‐ tients with mild or moderate CTS. Methods: Bibliographic review and treatment proposal made after consulting the PEDro, PubMed and ScienceDirect databases. Results: Treatments based on myofascial release and neurodynamic techniques have positive effects. They are beneficial and effective in the rehabilitation of patients with mild or moderate STC. Conclusion: The combination of both treatments would increase the effectiveness in the recovery process of these patients, by offering a global vision of this pathology. | es_ES |
