Análisis de la demanda de caudal de las unidades de riego y sus características geométricas en la ampliación de la 1ª fase del Canal de Navarra

Abstract

En el sector XXIV de la Ampliación de la 1ª Fase del Canal de Navarra, la demanda de caudal de ciertas Unidades de Riego (UR) es superior a las dotaciones asignadas previamente en el diseño de la red general. Esto provoca un descenso en la uniformidad y eficiencia del riego en la parcela. Las UR del sector XXIV tienen una geometría muy irregular, por lo que en el presente trabajo se plantea relacionar la demanda de caudal de las UR con su geometría, de forma que la dotación de caudal de diseño del hidrante se ajuste lo máximo posible a la demanda real. Además, se busca establecer una relación entre dicha geometría y la demanda máxima de la UR, con el fin de buscar un caudal para el tarado del limitador del hidrante. Por último, se estudia el impacto del aumento de los caudales en la red de distribución.

At the XXIV sector of the 1st Extension of Navarra Canal, the flow demand of some Irrigation Units (IU) is higher than the previously assigned in the general network design. This causes loss of uniformity and efficiency drop at plot irrigation. The shape of XXIV sector IU Is very irregular. The purpose of this paper, is to discuss the correlation between the IU flow demand and their shape. This knowledge will allow to adjust as far as possible the hydrant design flow with the real flow requirements. In addition, we intend to establish a connection between IU shape and maximum flow demand, with the objective of establishing the optimal flow for the hydrant limiter. Finally, we discuss how increasing the flow would impact the distribution network.
