A la luz de los faros. La justicia revolucionaria en el municipio de Vallecas (julio de 1936 / febrero de 1937)

Abstract

El fracaso del golpe de Estado del 17 de julio de 1936 y las suspicacias hacia las fuerzas de orden, unido a la pérdida de poder efectivo en las calles, dio origen a los comités que iniciaron una serie de procesos revolucionarios. Dentro de dichos procesos, estos nuevos espacios ejercieron toda una serie de nuevas funciones entre las que destacó la violencia. En el presente artículo se va a proceder a estudiar la violencia revolucionaria en el municipio madrileño de Vallecas a través de los levantamientos de cadáveres realizados por los juzgados del término municipal. El objetivo es analizar este acontecimiento y contraponerlo con el relato general para apreciar diferencias y similitudes.

1936ko uztailaren 17ko estatu-kolpearen porrotaren ondorioz, eta ordenaren indarrei zitzaien goganbeharrak eta lehenago kalean izandako indarra galdu izanak bultzatuta, zenbait komite sortu ziren, zeinak prozesu iraultzaile batzuk jarri baitzituzten martxan. Prozesu iraultzaileetan funtzio berri andana bat bete zuten komiteek; horien artean nabarmentzekoa, indarkeria. Artikulu honetan Vallecasko udalerrian (Madril) izandako indarkeria iraultzailea aztertzen da udal barrutiko epaitegiek egindako hilotz jasotzeen bidez. Halako gertaerak ikertzea da helburua, eta kontakizun gailenarekin konparatzea zer alde eta antzekotasun dauden jakiteko.

The failure of the coup d’état of July 17, 1936 and suspicions towards the forces of order, together with the loss of effective power in the streets, gave rise to the committees that began a series of revolutionary processes. Within these processes, these new spaces exercised a whole series of new functions, among which violence stood out. In this article we will proceed to study the revolutionary violence in the Madrid municipality of Vallecas through the removal of bodies carried out by the courts of the municipal term. The objective is to analyze this event and contrast it with the general story to appreciate differences and similarities
