dc.description.abstractModal analysis can be used to determine the vibration characteristics (natural frequencies and corresponding mode shapes) of a structure. In our case, natural frequencies of a PVC base plate. The natural frequencies and mode shapes are important parameters in the design of a structure for dynamic loading conditions. Having identified the natural frequency of a base plate, we modified it iteratively, ensured that the mass does not exceed the 10% extra, trying to achieve to maximize the first natural frequency keeping the mass below limit level value.en
