Kultura bisuala eta honek eragindako genero estereotipoen eragina marrazkiengan: 10 urteko haurren kasu praktiko baten analisia

Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza un análisis de los dibujos creados por unos niños de 10 años. Para centrar el tema, se presta especial atención a la representación de la cultura visual y los estereotipos de género que crea. Para ello, se han tenido en cuenta las investigaciones y trabajos realizados hasta el momento así como el entorno de los niños que han creado los dibujos. Se analizan cuáles son las principales diferencias entre los dibujos de las niñas y los niños. Se examina la apariencia física de los personajes representados y las acciones que realiza cada uno para saber si están relacionados con algún estereotipo de género. No solo se analizan las imágenes que crean los niños, sino también las que reciben. Como se ha podido comprobar, en la publicidad o en los dibujos animados, a menudo la imagen de la mujer aparece estereotipada por lo que se han comparado con las creaciones propias y se ha afirmado que la cultura visual tiene una importante influencia en ellos. A pesar de ello, los dibujos de los niños presentan menos estereotipos que las ilustraciones que ven a diario por lo que se han sacado conclusiones positivas.

Lan honetan, 10 urteko haur batzuek sortutako marrazkien analisi bat egiten da. Lana zehazteko, kultura bisualaren eta genero estereotipoen irudikapenetan arreta jartzen da. Beraz, orain arte gai honen inguruan egindako lanak eta ikerketak aztertu eta gero eta bere ingurumena kontuan hartuta, material berrien analisiarekin hasten da. Analisi honetan sexu bakoitzeko sortze lanen arteko diferentziak konparatu dira. Haurren marrazkietan irudikatutako pertsonen itsura fisikoa eta zein ekintzak egiten dituzten aztertzen da genero estereotipoei lotuta dauden jakiteko. Sortzen dituzten lanetaz gain, jasotzen dituzten irudiak ere aztertu dira. Ikusi denez, telebistan ikusten dituzten iragarkietan eta marrazki bizidunetan adibidez, emakumearen irudia erabat estereotipatua agertzen da batzuetan. Jasotzen dituzten irudiak eta sortzen dituztenak konparatu dira eta baieztatu da kultura bisualak eragina duela. Hori horrela bada ere, eta nahiz eta egunero ikusten dituzten ilustrazioak estereotipatuak egon, beraiek sortutakoetan ez da hain agerikoa. Ondorio positiboak atera dira orokorrean genero estereotipoen apurketa ematen dela ikusi baita.

In this paper, an analyze of drawings created by 10 year-old children is done. To focus the work, a special attention is paid to the representation of visual culture and the gender stereotypes that creates. To do so, the investigations carried up to now about the subject as well as the environment of students have been taken into account. It is also analyzed which are the main differences between the drawings of boys and girls. The appearance of characters that are represented and the actions they make are examined to know if they are related to any gender stereotype. Not only are the images created by students analyzed, but also the ones they receive. As has been shown, in the advertising or in cartoons, the image of woman is often stereotyped so it has been compared to the own creations of students and it has been affirmed that visual culture has an important influence on them. However, the drawings of kids show less stereotypes than the illustrations that they see in their daily life, so positive conclusions have been drawn.
