Haur hizkeraren transmisioa: eskolaren eginbeharra eta Azpeitiko kasua

Abstract

El adulto modifica su forma de hablar con el niño, desde su nacimiento hasta que este culmina el proceso de adquisición del lenguaje, a través de diversos recursos. Ese registro del habla se denomina lenguaje maternal. Este ensayo recoge las funciones y el uso de este registro. Para ello, primeramente, hemos recabado opiniones de autores que han escrito acerca de este registro lingüístico. Posteriormente, hemos analizado las opiniones de algunos expertos de Euskal Herria. Pretende el presente trabajo, por tanto, explorar la utilización de este registro lingüístico en la lengua vasca. Asimismo, hemos realizado un estudio in situ con el objetivo de observar su uso en el municipio de Azpeitia. Padres, abuelos y docentes del pueblo han colaborado con nosotros para realizar esta labor. El cometido de este análisis ha sido abrir un debate y crear una vía para la reflexión a cerca de la conveniencia de utilizar este registro en el ámbito educativo y más concretamente en la etapa 0-3 de educación infantil

Using a variety of resources, adults modify their speech since the moment a child is born until he/she acquires the language. That language modification is called Childdirected Speech. This essay studies the functions and usage of this register. In order to analyse that, we have first collected the opinions of authors from all over the world; then, we have focused on the assumptions and theories of the most important sociolinguists of the Basque Country. This way, we have researched on the register used by adults to communicate with babies in the Basque language. Furthermore, this work examines whether the inhabitants of Azpeitia, where Basque language is widely spoken, use this speech or not, and if that is the case, which is the manner they do it. Grandparents, parents and teachers have collaborated with this study. The aim is to reflect that usage and cause a debate about the necessity of including this register at infant education institutions
