| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this work is the development or design and the subsequent study and analysis of a mechanism that allows to regulate the height of the chassis of an off-road competition motorcycle. This type of motorcycles, have a totally different behaviour to any vehicle that rolls by asphalt, needing a very robust structure. One of the most important parts to achieve this robustness is in its skeleton, technically calledchassis and in its complementary sub-chassis. We will study this study on a motorcycle in particular, the KTM EXC 250 2018, the best according to the experts and the best qualified in the last races and championships of this off-road modality. First, we will design a mechanism through which the height of the subframe can be adjusted with the swingarm, saying that the redesign of this mechanism will not modify the anchors nor the usual measures so that no modification is necessary for the assembly of the different elements, whether motor and other components. This is the study and a possible first prototype, so the manu facture and commissioning of this project will not take place. Once the study and analysis of the existing subchasis has been carried out, and the mechanism has been d esigned, we will carry out another study and compare the results through a finite element study program. | en |
