Implementación de la metodología Lean en Smurfit Kappa

El proyecto presentado a continuación, se desarrolla durante la realización de las prácticas curriculares en la empresa Smurfit Kappa Sangüesa. El proyecto trata de la implantación de la metodología Lean mediante tres técnicas diferentes: las 5S, el SOM y la Gestión Visual. Estas herramientas se aplican en el Parque de Madera, el área encargada de recibir la madera y las astillas con las que se fabrica el papel. Para ello, se hace un análisis inicial de la zona y se designa un equipo encargado de llevar a cabo las acciones de implantación. Después, se desarrolla la implantación de las 5S explicando la metodología aplicada en cada una de las fases. Tras las 5S, se hace un estudio de los problemas más importantes en cuanto a la producción, eligiendo los tres primeros para implementar el Sistema Operativo de Mejoras. Por último, se instalan algunas herramientas de Gestión Visual para facilitar el trabajo de los operarios.

The project presented below, is developed during the realization of the practices in the company Smurfit Kappa Sangüesa. The project deals with the implementation of the Lean methodology using three different techniques: 5S, SOM and Visual Management. These tools are applied in the Wood Yard, the area in charge of receiving the wood and the chips from which the paper is made. To do this, it is made an initial analysis of the area and a team is appointed to carry out the implementation actions. Afterwards, the implementation of the 5S is developed explaining the methodology applied in each of the phases. After the 5S, it is made a study of the most important problems in terms of production, choosing the first three to implement the Operating System of Improvements. Finally, some Visual Management tools are installed to facilitate the work of the operators.
