Reducing the RCS (radar cross section) of a target effectively is a challenge and therefore
improving the performance of military targets becomes a real challenge.
That is why different techniques have been proposed in the literature to reduce the RCS and in
particular with the introduction of metamaterials [1], a new advance in radar straight section
reduction techniques has been established, improving and overcoming the limitations of conventional
techniques. Metamaterials allow the amplitudes and phases of reflected electromagnetic waves to be
controlled individually or simultaneously, therefore, they have potential use in wave manipulation.
Some of the applications of their use range from wavefront control [2] to polarization converters [3],
[4], [5], [6]. [--]
