First we establish links between pointwise aggregation and invariance properties. Then, paying attention to the particular case of aggregation operators of a finite number of real-valued functions, we characterize several special kinds of aggregation operators as strictly monotone modifications of projections. As a case study, we introduce a first approach of type-2fuzzy sets via fusion operators. Their main drawback when applying them in real-world problems, such as combining classifier ensembles, is how to define the fuzzy measure that governs the aggregation and specifies the interactions. However, their usage for combining classifiers has shown its advantage. The learning of the fuzzy measure can be done either in a supervised or unsupervised manner. This paper focuses on supervised approaches. Existing supervised approaches are designed to minimize the mean squared error cost function, even for classification problems. We propose a new fuzzy measure learning algorithm for combining classifiers that can optimize any cost function. To do so, advancements from deep learning frameworks are considered such as automatic gradient computation. Therefore, a gradient-based method is presented together with three new update policies that are required to preserve the monotonicity constraints of the fuzzy measures. The usefulness of the proposal and the optimization of cross-entropy cost are shown in an extensive experimental study with 58 datasets corresponding to both binary and multi-class classification problems. The recently introduced concept, Basic Uncertain Information (BUI), serves as one ideal information representation to well model involved uncertainties with different extents. This study discusses some methods of BUI aggregation by proposing some uncertainty transformations for them. Based on some previously obtained results, we at first define Iowa operator with poset valued input vector and inducing vector. The work then defines the concept of uncertain system, on which we can further introduce the multi-layer uncertainty transformation for BUI. Subsequently, we formally introduce MUT-Iowa aggregation procedure, which has good potential to more and wider application areas. En este trabajo, presentamos el diseño y la captura realizados para la creación de una nueva base de datos para FER, donde tratamos de minimizar los sesgos desde el propio diseño. La base de datos se ha creado utilizando diferentes métodos de captura. These functions are a generalization of the 'standard' Choquet integral obtained by replacing the difference in the definition of the usual Choquet integral by a dissimilarity function. In particular, the class of all d-Choquet integrals encompasses the class of all 'standard' Choquet integrals but the use of dissimilarities provides higher flexibility and generality. We show that some d-Choquet integrals are aggregation/pre-aggregation/averaging/functions and some of them are not. This problem arises in image processing when several color values given in RGB, HSL, or another coding scheme, need to be combined. We show how the arithmetic mean and the median can be constructed by minimizing appropriate penalties, and we discuss which of them coincide with the Cartesian product of the standard mean and median. We apply these functions in image processing. The orness measure was introduced to classify the behavior of the OWA operators depending on the weight vectors. Defining a suitable orness measure is an arduous task when we deal with OWA operators defined over more intricate spaces, such us intervals or lattices. In this work we propose a suitable definition for the orness measure to classify OWA operators defined on the set of m-dimensional intervals taking real values in [0, 1]. The orness measure is applied to decide which is the best partition of a continuous range that should be divided into four linguistic labels. The great variety of weights that can be chosen to determinate an OWA operator provides a broad family of aggegating functions, which obviously give diferent results in the aggregation of the same set of data. In this paper, some possible classifications of OWA operators are suggested when they are de ned on m-dimensional intervals taking values on a complete lattice satisfying certain local conditions. A first classification is obtained by means of a quantitative orness measure that gives the proximity of each OWA to the OR operator. In the case in which the lattice is finite, another classification is obtained by means of a qualitative orness measure. OVO is a decomposition strategy used to deal with multi-class classification problems, where the original multi-class problem is divided into as many problems as pair of classes. In a multiple classifier system, classifiers coming from different paradigms such as support vector machines, rule induction algorithms or decision trees are combined. In the literature, several works have addressed the usage of classifier selection methods for these kinds of systems, where the best classifier for each pair of classes is selected. In this work, we look at the problem from a different perspective aiming at analyzing the behavior of different families of fusion functions to combine the classifiers. In fact, a multiple classifier system of OVO classifiers can be seen as a multi-expert decision making problem. In this context, for the fusion functions depending on weights or fuzzy measures, we propose to obtain these parameters from data. Backed-up by a thorough experimental analysis we show that the fusion function to be considered is a key factor in the system. Moreover, those based on weights or fuzzy measures can allow one to better model the aggregation problem.
