| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo analiza el significado y las funciones de la aceleración social y de la intensificación de los umbrales de la existencia humana, a consecuencia de la aplicación del tecno-bio-poder a la vida humana, a través del diseño genético, tomando como estudio de caso el film de ciencia ficción Blade Runner de Ridley Scott. Los autores en los que me apoyo para construir el marco conceptual son Reinhart Koselleck —sus extraordinarios análisis sociohistóricos sobre la aceleración—, Herman Lübbe y David Harvey —sus análisis sobre el fenómeno de compresión del tiempo— y Harmut Rosa —en la teoría de los motores de la aceleración moderna—. Se explora la influencia de variables como la biotecnología y la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la creación de un nuevo tiempo acelerado, que redefinen la naturaleza humana y sus entornos sociales y cognitivos. La conclusión es que la evolución natural ha sido redefinida por el diseño humano. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This study analyzes the meaning and functions of social acceleration and the intensification of the thresholds of human existence as a consequence of the application of techno-bio-power to human life through genetic engineering, taking the science fiction film, Blade Runner, by Ridley Scott as a case study. The authors from whom I draw support for constructing the conceptual framework of this study are Reinhart Koselleck — his extraordinary socio-historical studies of acceleration—, Herman Lübbe and David Harvey — their analyses of the phenomenon of the compression of time— and Harmut Rosa —with his theory about the driving forces of modern acceleration. The article explores the influence of variables like bio-technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the creation of a new accelerated time, which redefine human nature and its social and cognitive surroundings. The conclusion is that natural evolution has been redefined by human design. | en |
