Abstract
The aim of this project is to design, investigate and model the aerodynamic behavior and dynamics of a wind turbine blades taking into account the elasticity of the rotor blades and the steadiness of the flow. The main idea of the project is by performing the steady-state FSI (Fluid-Structure Interaction) analysis based on the obtained numerical results from two solvers: aerodynamic model for fluid and structural solver to evaluate the influence of the profile of wind turbine blade and position of the blades on the energy harvesting efficiency of a horizontal axis wind turbine blades (HAWT). The solution is obtained iteratively.
