    This thesis covers the development phase of the aerodynamic package of a Le Mans prototype car based on a base geometry, aimed at achieving an aerodynamic performance similar to any LMP1 Prototype currently competing. The development of the different aerodynamic elementsis conducted using general concepts from fluid dynamics that are validated and quantified using advanced Computer Fluid ynami ... [++]
    This thesis covers the development phase of the aerodynamic package of a Le Mans prototype car based on a base geometry, aimed at achieving an aerodynamic performance similar to any LMP1 Prototype currently competing. The development of the different aerodynamic elementsis conducted using general concepts from fluid dynamics that are validated and quantified using advanced Computer Fluid ynamicssoftware CFD. The design is improved based on the results from the previous CFD simulation esults. These improvements are designed with the help of CAD software to be analysed in another CFD simulation. The result only is only meaningful as a concept, as the work done in this thesis only covers the general attributes of a complete aerodynamic package. [--]
