In this volume, we are before the outstanding work of five scholars who open a new field before us: the plays of Margaret Drabble, the British novelist. this is a careful and sound edition, exemplarily full of quotes and ideas, which offers a deep insight on the two plays written by the novelist, accompanied by the depiction of the times in which they were written and the literary trends of the moment. We must underline the richness of this book, thanks to the insertion of some unpublished comments made by Drabble, which she sent to the editor, José Francisco Fernández.
