The use of project-based learning in the subject of Technology enables students
to carry out a learning that occurs when real problems are simulated. Due to the
changing nature of today's society, the quantity and nature of problems changes
rapidly too. This reality increasingly demands a kind of education that helps young
people to use and enhance their innate abilities in order to get better answers that
respond to complex problems. It is going to be necessary to develop a type of
thinking that helps them generate new ideas and allows them to redefine or redesign
the possible reality they are in. In response to this need, this paper proposes to apply
the methodology of Design Thinking to structure a project of the Technology subject.
This process composed by sequential phases enables the developement of skills
such as: search and selection of relevant information, teamwork, divergent thinking
and critical thinking. The ultimate goal of this work is that students get in touch with
the process of Design thinking to develop the creative skill and find innovative
solutions. [--]
