Taking into account the widths of the intervals, two types of interval subsethood measures are proposed. Additionally, their relation and main properties are studied. These developments are made both with respect to the regular partial order of intervals and with respect to admissible orders. Pero para lograrlo se ha aumentado la presión máxima de trabajo y la densidad de potencia (potencia/cilindrada) [1]. Este aumento de las presiones de trabajo ha impulsado el estudio y utilización de nuevos materiales que, como la fundición de grafito compacto (Compacted Graphite Iron, CGI), son capaces de soportar mayores esfuerzos mecánicos y térmicos. Ahora bien, para asegurar las propiedades de la fundición CGI (Compacted Graphite Iron) se necesita controlar la microestructura (nodularidad dentro del rango 020%). El objetivo del estudio es la caracterización de la microestructura de bloques de motor en fundición CGI fabricados en la fundición V. Luzuriaga-Tafalla. En el caso de la Unión Europea, se ha realizado una apuesta por este tipo de energías, produciéndose una especialización por países. La Comunidad Foral de Navarra es un claro ejemplo de esta sensibilidad, que le ha llevado a convertirse en un modelo de desarrollo. El presente trabajo recoge la situación actual de las energías renovables en la región, analizándolas desde el punto de vista de las empresas que realizan su actividad en este ámbito. Para ello, se ha determinado el conjunto de empresas que constituyen en Navarra el sector de las energías renovables, para a continuación proceder a analizarlo mediante una investigación de mercados. De este modo, se ha puesto de manifiesto las interrelaciones entre una política energética regional y la creación y desarrollo de un sector empresarial dinámico, competitivo y en crecimiento. The model is generated using a symbolic implementation of the principle of virtual power. Creep forces are modeled using a direct symbolic implementation of the standard linear Kalker model. No simplifications, such as base parameter reduction, partial-linearization or lookup tables for contact kinematics, are used. An Implicit–Explicit integration scheme is proposed to efficiently deal with the stiff creep dynamics. For that reason, anything that helps decision makers to facilitate their location decision processes is of their utmost interest. The aim of this paper is, therefore, providing a methodology that could be useful for the decision makers by giving them not only an optimal point but also a whole region where they can focus on their attention. Knowing that biofuels are settling as a new alternative energy source which has been spreading around the world to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and oil dependence, this methodology is tested in the real case of locating a biorefinery in Navarre, Spain. Moreover, A Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model has been developed to generate optimal region vertices as well as some other supply chain characteristics, including, among others, which crops are going to be harvested, when they are going to be collected, and their storage levels. Additionally, two criteria were implemented in MILP model to create two optimal regions: one considering an economic criterion and other one minimizing environmental impact. We show that the functions obtained with this construction method can be used to build edge detectors for grayscale images. We compare the results of these detectors to those obtained with some other ones that are widely used in the literature. Over the centuries, advances in mechanical engineering were applied to clockmaking, achieving clocks with ever-increasing precision. In the north of Navarre, the Yeregui family formed an outstanding family of mechanical clockmakers who, from the end of the eighteenth century until the middle of the twentieth century, designed, built, assembled and maintained tower clocks for five generations. Their first recorded clock was designed and assembled by José Francisco Yeregui Zabaleta for the village of Betelu and its deed dates from 15th April 1796. Subsequently, different members of the family manufactured numerous clocks for towns and cities in and around Navarre, including the old clock of Pamplona Town Hall, in operation for more than 150 years until 1991 and recently restored. The classes of overlap and grouping functions are richer than the classes of t-norms and t-conorms, respectively, concerning some properties like idempotency, homogeneity, and, mainly, the self-closedness feature with respect to the convex sum and the aggregation by generalized composition of overlap/grouping functions. In previous works, we introduced some classes of fuzzy implications derived by overlap and/or grouping functions, namely, the residual implications R-0-implications, the strong implications (G, N)-implications and the Quantum Logic implications QL-implications, for overlap functions O, grouping functions G and fuzzy negations N. Such implications do not necessarily satisfy certain properties, but only weaker versions of these properties, e.g., the exchange principle. However, in general, such properties are not demanded for many applications. In this paper, we analyze the so-called law of O-Conditionality, O(x, 1(x, y)) <= y, for any fuzzy implication I and overlap function O, and, in particular, for Ro-implications, (G, N)-implications, QL-implications and D-implications derived from tuples (O, G, N), the latter also introduced in this paper. We also study the conditional antecedent boundary condition for such fuzzy implications, since we prove that this property, associated to the left ordering property, is important for the analysis of the O-Conditionality. We show that the use of overlap functions to implement de generalized Modus Ponens, as the scheme enabled by the law of O-Conditionality, provides more generality than the laws of T-conditionality and U-conditionality, for t-norms T and uninorms U, respectively.
