In this study, the effectiveness of using flowcharts and playful learning to enhance computational thinking and foreign language learning in primary school pupils was examined. The study involved 40 Spanish primary school children aged 7 years, who were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group participated in a series of activities and tasks that included flowcharts and playful learning. The control group participated in the same tasks but without introducing them flowchart’s characteristics at first. The results showed that the experimental group exhibited a significant improvement in computational thinking and foreign language learning compared to the control group. Moreover, the study showed that flowcharts and playful learning can be a useful tool in foreign language classrooms. The findings suggest that the combination of computational thinking and playful learning can be an effective approach to enhance learning in primary schools.en
