| dc.description.abstract | La Curva Medioambiental de Kuznets ha sido una de las hipótesis más debatidas de la Economía Ambiental en las últimas décadas. Según ésta, la relación entre el crecimiento económico y la degradación ambiental, presenta una forma de U invertida. Esto implica que el deterioro ambiental es una función creciente del crecimiento económico hasta llegar a un nivel de renta, a partir del cual mayores niveles de crecimiento se asocian a niveles progresivamente menores de deterioro ambiental. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado realiza un pequeño recorrido por alguno de los trabajos realizados sobre el tema, y más adelante se expone un trabajo de series temporales para el caso de España, empleando dos tipos de contaminantes atmosféricos. La estimación por Mínimos Cuadrados Ordinarios avala la presencia de esta relación, y sitúan a este país en la parte decreciente de la curva. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The Kuznets Environmental Curve has been one of the most debated hypotheses of the Environmental Economy in recent decades. According to this, the relationship between economic growth and environmental degradation has an inverted U-shape. This implies that environmental deterioration is a growing function of economic growth until it reaches a certain level of income, from which, higher levels of growth are associated with progressively lower levels of environmental deterioration. This Final Degree Project goes through some of the works about the subject, and later on a time series study for the case of Spain is introduced, using two types of atmospheric pollutants. The estimation by Ordinary Least Squares confirms the presence of this relation, and places this country in the decreasing part of the curve. | es_ES |
