Concepto Bobath en traumatismo cráneo-encefálico

Paciente de 59 años que padece un TCE con hemiparesia izquierda de 7 años de evolución consecuencia de un accidente de moto que provocó un hematoma intraparenquimatoso parietal derecho y hemorragia subaracnoidea. Para su tratamiento se ha utilizado el concepto Bobath. Durante el periodo de intervención, recibe dos sesiones por semana de 45 minutos en ADACEN y tres sesiones a la semana de 2h de duración cada una con un fisioterapeuta privado, desde que le dieron el alta en Ubarmin hasta hoy en día. El paciente mostraba como problema principal, las cefaleas debidas a secuelas de traumatismo craneoencefálico grave con hemorragia parietal derecha y hemorragia subaracnoidea, que le provocan malestar todos los días. Tras la intervención se observó una disminución de la intensidad de las cefaleas, mayor estabilidad postural y mayor control del pie durante la marcha.

A 59 year old patient who suffered a TCE with left hemiparesis 7 years of evolution following a motorcycle accident that caused a right parietal intracerebral hematoma and subarachnoid hemorrhage. For treatment the Bobath concept was used. During the intervention period, the patient received two sessions per week of 45 minutes in ADACEN and three sessions per week of 2 hours duration each one with a private therapist, since he was released from Ubarmin until today. The patient showes as the main problem, headaches due to aftermath of a severe head injury with right parietal hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage, which causes discomfort every day. After surgery, a decrease in the intensity of headaches, increased postural stability and better control of the foot during walking was observed.
